Presenter Profiles
Prior to joining ABC, Cristine Kao served as the Vice President of Global Marketing at ACTIVE Network, a portfolio company of Global Payments Inc., where she accelerated the marketing organization to better serve as a growth engine and to retain its client base.
Cristine has 20 years of experience in the health sector, fueled by her passion to help companies and communities create healthier lives using Information Technology. She has held sales, operations, and marketing positions at Carestream Health, Phreesia, and GE Healthcare where she helped launch award-winning products, create global brands, and open up new and niche markets.
Cristine brings her knowledge of modern marketing that includes demand generation, product marketing, sales enablement, and client success to ABC Fitness. Her focus at ABC will be creating compelling and inspirational market engagement and engaging content that will help ABC support the health and fitness club community through ongoing education and engagement.
Cristine has a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Business with a Biochemistry option from the University of Waterloo. She is also an alumna of the Harvard Business School.
Scott Gillespie is a 36-year fitness industry veteran and owner of Saco Sport & Fitness, a progressive multipurpose Health club in Southern Maine. Scott has served on the NEHRSA and IHRSA Boards of Directors, is a member of the Industry Leadership Council, serves on the Genavix Advisory Board, and chairs the Biddeford Saco Chamber of Commerce Board. Scott is a frequent presenter for IHRSA, NEHRSA, Club Industry, and REX Roundtables. He’s been featured in Club Business International, Club Solutions, Club Insider magazines, and the Fitness Business and Gym Hero’s Podcasts. He is the founder of the Maine Fitness Coalition and consults with independent clubs on expanding wellness program offerings and developing sales systems into those programs, improving market reach, member outcomes, and club profitability. Outside the club world, Scott is married with two grown children and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, skiing, cycling, golf, guitar and is a bit of a wine nut.
Mark Williamson has more than 25 years of experience in market research, and consumer insights, including 17 years within the club and hospitality industry at ClubCorp USA, which comprises an elite collection of private golf, country, business, sports, and alumni clubs. During his tenure with ClubCorp he was VP of Research and responsible for developing and managing member and employee experience studies for all the club properties, market studies for country club development, and concept testing for fitness center development within country clubs. He has also led Consumer Insights teams for industry-leading restaurant brands such as Applebee’s, Chili’s, Maggiano’s, On The Border, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, and Corner Bakery. Outside of the hospitality industry, Mark led the consumer insights team at match.com. He is a guest lecturer at national conferences and a frequent panelist on a series of webinars.
Adam Zeitsiff is the president and CEO of Broomfield, CO-based Intelivideo, as well as an Advisory Board Member of the National Health and Fitness Alliance recently launched in the U.S. by IHRSA. He previously served as the global President & CEO of Gold’s Gym. He draws upon his 15+ years of fitness industry technology and club-operating experience to guide Intelivideo as a trusted partner to gyms and health clubs worldwide.
