We Talk Wellbeing and Fitmanor

Our ability to think, feel, and act our way to true productivity and happiness is often compromised. There has never been a more important time in our lives to prioritise learning skills and abilities which help us face the future with creativity, positivity, and optimism and by relying on our own resources.

We all want to be productive at work, but we don't want it to have a lasting impact on our health, happiness, and overall well-being.

Dr. Glenda Rivoallan is an expert in resilience, the Founder of We Talk Wellbeing and Fitmanor, and knows a thing or two about start-up fitness businesses having successfully sold her last two brands by way of acquisition. During the session, she will be sharing simple steps that you can take to ensure that you invest in yourself and that, in showing up, you bring the best version of yourself.

In this webinar, Glenda shares eight gifts that COVID has given us that we may be blinded to but will help us move forward and thrive.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explore the power of the present

  • Gain insight on the importance of mindfulness of thought

  • Learn how to regulate emotions

  • Learn habits to further develop resilience

Presenter Profile:

Dr. Glenda Rivoallan is a speaker, author, consultant, and wellbeing expert. With a love for all things business, she is very passionate about the role resilience plays in entrepreneurial endeavours and in helping Founders not just merely survive but thrive during the entrepreneurial journey. She holds a DBA in Business with research interest in resilience and mindfulness and more specifically in the role that both self-awareness and self-knowledge play in developing resilience in entrepreneurs. She also conducts regular research into the importance of self, team, and organisation in developing resilience, happiness, and optimal wellbeing at work and how improved wellbeing impacts overall corporate productivity.

Glenda is the founder and creator of multiple wellness brands, including Soulgenic, Club Soulgenic, the multiple-award-winning Healthhaus, and more recently Fitmanor and We Talk Wellbeing. With the successful acquisition of Club Soulgenic to the Anytime Fitness brand portfolio in the summer of 2020, Glenda is now focusing her energy on inspiring and supporting other business owners to build sustainable and impactful fitness and well-being brands and further develop her current brand portfolio.

Glenda has been committed to lifelong learning and personal growth for decades and believes that a constant curiosity to expand the mind and learn new skills has offered her numerous opportunities to innovate and create brands that transform people’s lives.

Glenda's favourite quote is the old Japanese proverb: “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.” In our 21st century, globalised fast-paced, high-stakes, "always-on culture," the demands of work and life increasingly stretch our boundaries and our tolerance to stress. Something has to give, and usually, that something is our personal resilience. Our ability to think, feel, and act our way to true productivity and happiness is often compromised. Glenda believes that there has never been a more important time in our lives to prioritise learning skills and abilities that help us face the future with creativity, positivity, and optimism and by relying on our own resources.

Glenda's written two books Mindfulness for Well-being—an Amazon bestseller—and The Mindful Advantage in Entrepreneurship with her 3rd book, Mindful Entrepreneurship, due for release in Autumn 2021 under the Routledge publishing house.
