Xponential Fitness CEO Mark King Set to Keynote at The HFA Show 2025

Mark King, who has led adidas North America, TaylorMade Golf, and Taco Bell before coming to Xponential, will speak about his vision for the fitness industry during his address on March 13, 2025, in Las Vegas.

Mark King has a lot to say about driving growth, leading change, and innovating. He’s done a lot of each during his 40 years in business, most of that time outside the fitness and wellness industry. Now, he is applying his experience in his new role as CEO of Xponential Fitness, one of the largest global franchisors of boutique health and wellness brands.

He isn’t confining the application of his expertise to just his own brand. Instead, he will share his vision of change, growth, and innovation with the entire fitness and wellness industry when he offers one of the keynotes at The HFA Show, which will occur March 12-14, 2025, at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In his keynote, “A Fireside Chat with Mark King of Xponential: His Bold Vision for the Fitness Industry,” King will share what he learned as president of adidas North America where he doubled market share in less than three years and tripled sales in four years, as president and CEO of TaylorMade Golf where he took the company from $300 million to more than $1.7 billion in sales, and as CEO of Taco Bell for almost five years where he led the brand to positive same-store sales growth in all but one quarter and accelerated its international growth.

“The depth of experience that Mark possesses in driving business at big brands before coming to Xponential gives him a unique perspective on leading change, operating in a state of constant innovation, and infusing a growth mindset into the culture of an organization,” said Health & Fitness Association (HFA) President & CEO Liz Clark.

Bringing experienced leaders from other industries to The HFA Show is one way HFA is evolving the event, she added.

King will speak to transforming brands and an industry.

“I believe the key to a successful transformation hinges on conveying your vision to the people you work with and securing their buy-in on that vision,” King said. “I see the fitness industry in the midst of a transformation, and I want to contribute to that transformation by sharing my vision and working to get the buy-in of those in the room.”

King's keynote address is one of three planned for The HFA Show 2025. The other two keynotes will be announced soon.

The HFA Show is the HFA's annual event formerly known as the IHRSA Convention & Trade Show.
