Children Develop Physical, Social, & Emotional Skills at Little Gym

The Little Gym, a children’s gymnastics program in York, England, helps children from ages four months to 12 years to develop physically, socially, and emotionally. Each week, the classes welcome more than 450 members. "We are passionate at The Little Gym about the importance of quality movement in the early years, so we’re not shocked to read how the pandemic has delayed the development of younger children in this way,” Kate Henebury, owner of The Little Gym Harrogate, Leeds, and York, told The York Press. "We know that our classes are excellent at helping babies and toddlers meet important physical, social and emotional milestones whilst also allowing new parents to establish those important friendships.” After one successful year in business, the facility is giving back to the community and giving away 10 classes each to two families with a child under three.
