The HFA Show 2025 Kicks Off Next Week: A Must-Attend Event for the Health & Fitness Industry

Due to a recent schedule change, Chuck Runyon, co-chair of the Purpose Brands board of directors and co-founder of Anytime Fitness, will now offer the keynote address on the second day of the show.

Boston, MA—March 5, 2025—The Health & Fitness Association (HFA) is preparing to welcome industry professionals from around the world to The HFA Show 2025, taking place March 12-14 at Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas. As the premier conference and trade show for the health and fitness industry, this year’s event promises to be the biggest and most dynamic yet, featuring an enhanced conference structure, new trade show experiences, and an exciting lineup of speakers.

Kicking off the week’s events, the inaugural HFA Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on March 11, recognizing pioneers who have made a lasting impact on the industry. Proceeds from the tickets will support the HFA Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to supporting health through exercise.

March 12, the first day of The HFA Show, focuses entirely on education, with a reimagined conference format featuring eight educational tracks. Attendees can customize their learning experience by focusing on key content that is most relevant to them and their teams. Topics will include staff management, research and advocacy, retention and experience, a track unique for studios and more.

The trade show floor opens March 13, showcasing nearly 400 exhibitors with the latest innovations in fitness equipment, technology, and services. New additions to this year’s expo include the Experience Stage, bringing fitness trends to life with hands-on demonstrations, and the Pickleball Pavilion, where attendees can participate in a multi-day tournament.

A recent update to the keynote lineup brings Chuck Runyon, co-chair of the Purpose Brands board of directors and co-founder of Anytime Fitness, to the main stage on March 13. He replaces Xponential CEO Mark King, who is unable to attend due to a rescheduled investment conference.

Runyon, a globally recognized leader in fitness franchising and business growth, will join HFA President and CEO Liz Clark for a fireside chat titled “Building a Global Wellness Legacy: Leadership, Growth, and Advocacy.” Sponsored by Matrix Fitness, the discussion will explore leadership and fitness advocacy as he speaks candidly about the industry's future around the globe—and why it’s never been a better time to be a fitness consumer.

Under Runyon’s leadership, Anytime Fitness grew to be the No. 1 fitness franchise brand in the world, with over 5,000 locations across all seven continents. As CEO of Self Esteem Brands, Runyon helped steer its 2024 merger with Orangetheory Fitness to form Purpose Brands, LLC, creating the most extensive portfolio of fitness, nutrition, and wellness franchise brands worldwide. Purpose Brands now operates over 7,000 locations in 50 countries, generating $3.7 billion in revenue and serving over 6 million members.

Beyond his business success, Runyon is a passionate advocate for fitness and global wellness policy, actively engaging with governments and organizations to promote industry growth and access to wellness services. He serves on the CEO Council of the Health & Fitness Association and has been recognized for his contributions to the franchise and fitness industries.

Registration for the conference and trade show remains open, with walk-in registration available on-site. For details and to register, visit healthandfitness.org/show.
