BOSTON, MA—January 26, 2024—IHRSA—the Health & Fitness Association, a global community of industry leaders—has hired Katie Philipp as Manager of Education & Events.
In her role, Katie will develop the curriculum for IHRSA's headlining events, which include the IHRSA Convention & Trade Show and the European Congress. She will solicit presenters from inside and outside the health and fitness industry to deliver expert insights.
Katie joins IHRSA after almost two decades of working in the wellness industry in various capacities. She spent more than a decade with Mindbody, where she was instrumental in building curriculum for various celebrated customer education programs and oversaw content and programming for Mindbody BOLD and Mindbody University.
More recently, she was a consultant with studios, fit tech platforms, and industry-leading marketing agencies. She brings a wealth of experience working within the boutique fitness space and expansive knowledge of fitness franchise operations.
Her immersion in the world of wellness extends outside of the workplace. She holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification and a 250-hour PCI equipment Pilates certification.
