CoverMe Fitness, the innovative technology platform that revolutionizes team management and cover solutions, has appointed industry veteran Christine DiBugnara as Head of Business Development for the US. DiBugnara joins Doris Thews, who has been serving as Vice President of Business Development for the past six months, to accelerate its expansion in the US.
With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, specializing in programming operations, technology integration and digital fitness solutions, DiBugnara brings a wealth of expertise to CoverMe. She has successfully led sales and account management for SaaS models in the fitness space, helping businesses improve onboarding, customer experience and engagement.
“I’m passionate about finding creative solutions that enhance processes and systems and utilize a fresh perspective. CoverMe’s innovative approach to streamlining operations while addressing current industry challenges drew me in,” said DiBugnara. “The US market is ready to embrace CoverMe as an all-in-one solution for fitness operators. I look forward to engaging with operators to demonstrate how this technology tackles operational inefficiencies, enabling businesses to thrive.”
Developed in the UK, CoverMe has been customized for the US fitness industry to help operators efficiently manage class scheduling, cover substitution, team communication and compliance so they can concentrate on driving their business. The innovative app also enables fitness professionals to take control of their schedules and pick up work on their terms.
Doris Thews, an international award-winning fitness educator, keynote speaker and CEO of Team Thews Fitness, has played a key role in bringing CoverMe to the US market.
CoverMe is changing the face of fitness team management. The future of fitness is the gig economy - operators and fitness professionals don’t want to manage cover and schedules through spreadsheets, emails or multiple apps. With CoverMe they can do it all in one place; it’s a game-changer for the fitness industry,” she says.
With a combined 60+ years of fitness industry experience, Thews and DiBugnara are uniquely placed to drive CoverMe’s success in the US market.
“We are meeting the biggest players in the industry, from operators to educational partners. Their response has been overwhelmingly positive, with industry leaders recognizing the platform’s potential to modernize group fitness management,” says Thews.
