TORONTO—March 26, 2020—On Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. EST, the Coalition of Health and Fitness Leaders (CHFL) will host their second panel discussion titled, "10 Steps to Coaching Online," which will take place at the Health and Fitness Coalition website. It will feature their newest member, BJ Fogg, Ph.D., a behavior scientist at Stanford University and author of the best-selling book, "Tiny Habits."
The CHFL was recently formed in response to the hardships the nutrition and fitness community has faced due to COVID-19. Comprised of some of the largest independent companies in the industry, the coalition aims to share their collective experience with nutrition and fitness professionals and help them in identifying opportunities to build more resilient business practices. All resources and webinars provided by the CHFL are completely free.
Precision Nutrition's director of curriculum, Dr. Krista Scott-Dixon will facilitate the panel, which will include Dr. Fogg and two coaches who have made the transition from in-person to online coaching as a result of COVID-19. They will discuss the principles of behavior change and will educate fitness professionals looking to transition to online coaching on the step-by-step skills and/or practice progressions to support this change, like with any other habit.
Following the panel, a "How to Get Started Guide," will be made available for download from the CHFL website.
